On my first visit to Dr. Breton he did not appear to be very confident when examining me and seemed unsure with respect to how to proceed.  He did not seem to be comfortable touching me.

On my second visit, I had seen my regular doctor for a final visit (she was retiring), as she knew more about monitoring my coumadin levels and at the time I had a chest infection that she diagnosed as bronchitisand indicated that I should be taking an antibiotic.  She did not feel comfortable prescribing medication, as it was her last day of practice so when I saw Dr. Breton that afternoon, he seemed impatient and listened to my chest through my clothing and said I did not have bronchitis.  He wanted to prescribe codeine which I know is a cough suppressant and I felt I did not want my cough suppressed by wanted something to act as an expectorant to get rid of the build up of phlegm.

Dissatisfied, i went to a walk-in clinic where another physician concurred with my regular doctor and felt I definitely had bronchitis and without hesitation prescribed an antibiotic.  I felt that this was a pretty easy diagnosis and had to question the competency of Dr. Breton.  i would be curious to know if there are any other complaints regarding his competency.
