Dr. Latocha was initially over 1 hour late for a surgical appointment (10:00am appointment). Per his instructions, I had given my daughter (age 10) two premedications - one valium, which was causing her some distress. I expressed concern over the wait, and when my daughter did finally see him at 11:15am, he seemed agitated and rude and offended that I had questioned his office staff about the wait time.

During the procedure (4 tooth extractions) I expressed concern over her level of sedation as my daughter was showing extreme signs of discomfort and distress (screaming and crying). He then shoved me aggresively in an attempt to demonstate 'how hard he needed to pull to extract a tooth'.

After the procedure we were escorted out the back door by the nurse and did not recieve any discharge/follow-up care instructions.  I found his behavior extremely rude, offensive, and unprofessional.

The entire experience was upsetting to my daughter and disturbing to me as a parent.

I can believe that you had to wait an hour.  That happens in all doctor's offices.  Sometimes, complications arise in earlier surgeries that delay later appointments.  That is life, deal with it.

I really find it hard to believe that you were given no aftercare instructions.  My daughter and I were given very detailed aftercare instructions.  You also overdramatize being 'escorted out the back door'.  Every patient leaves by the back door because it is easier to pull the car close to the door there so that the patient does not have as far to walk.  You were trying to make it sound sneaky and underhanded.
