Dr. Amy Lang is the best doctor I've ever seen & known. She is VERY caring & very empathetic & compassionate when it comes to other people's pain. I brought her previous MRI, CT, & neurological test results & she was very thorough in examining my previous medical information and examined me thoroughly herself. From the previous medical tests & her examination she determined that I have moderate to severe scoliosis causing my frame to lean one way considerably which together with a previous back injury was causing me great pain. I also have severe sleep apnea which she determined has caused numerous other problems including muscle damage due to lack of oxygen. She also performed several tests on me in the office with the Atlanta Orthopedic equipment and determined that as a result of diabetes I have neuropathy in my calves & feet. Later an office test determined that I have the onset of neuropathy in my hands. This all explained the severe back & leg pain & muscle spasms I experience constantly throughout every day & the extreme range of fire to numbness in my hands & feet all day every day. She established a regular maint. medication schedule for arthritis, neuropathy, & the bone pain which gave me considerable relief from my pain & made it tolerable. It was as though she could feel my pain! She's the model of what all doctors should aspire to.
