I've had the same experience as the other patient who left a note here. This doctor doesn't want you to ask any questions or make suggestions about options for treatment. I'm going elsewhere to find someone who listens and has more interest in pursuing options for treatment of chronic illnesses -- or at least investigating the status of a person's condition through diagnostics tests and maybe referring you to a specialist who may (or may not) be able to suggest viable, mitigating treatments instead of just pain relievers. This doctor is very smart, but lacks empathy. I've decided that it's my responsibility to take charge of my own health and quality-of-life issues and not wait for him to offer helpful or hopeful advice and referral. If my future is as bleak as he portrays, I will have to investigate all reasonable, possible alternatives before accepting the inevitability of spending the rest of my life enduring constant, escalating pain. I'm going to see other doctors and get other opinions and perspectives regarding my situation. This doctor's office staff members are excellent. Score for doctor is based on the above critique.
