I made an appt with Dr. Huang's office after receiving two veneers from him 3 years ago. I really was pleased with the results of the two veneers so I figured I would go back for a regular dental appt for a teeth cleaning exam. I emailed them and explained I would be paying out of my pocket, as I work 3 pt jobs and go to Grad school. They said I would need an X-ray but I declined due to the fees. They replied they would include the X-ray for free as a 'professional courtesy' so I agreed and showed up for my dental exam appt on Oct 23rd, 2007. Imagine to my surprise when the x-rays and the teeth cleaning all combined was approx 15 mins max. I was shocked, and there was still stains on my teeth. Dr. Huang hurried through the exam, as if he had better things to do. I felt very cheated. I paid $200 for service that i didn't receive. I contacted their office to request for a refund as I made another appt with a different dentist. They wanted me to come back in for a 2nd cleaning. I declined as I have lost faith in this office. Now I am told they will not refund my money as its not their policy. I explained it was not my policy to be robbed of my hard earned money. WHATEVER you do, DONT expect a thorough cleaning if you go to this office. They may be located in the heart of Manhattan but they're no different than any other crooks. |
