The first day I met Dr.Gause, My son was 4 days old...r. Gause wsa so kind and informational to me. He knew I was scared and had no idea what T.E.V was. He explained everything to me..the different forms and severities. I was teary eyes, because I was scared and uneducated about my sons situation, that is until I met Dr. Gause. My son had 8 castings and 1 surgery on his eqilies tendon.. Dr. Gause proformed every service fantastically!. I explained eveything to me as he was doing it and why he was doing it. Once I got to know him, I found that he has a wonderful sense of humor and a very nice and intelligent doctor. He changed my sons life FOREVER..I am truly grateful for him. If it wasn't for Dr. Gause, I do not know what kind of life my son would of had. Now I know it will be wonderful. My sons foot looks so good its hard to determine which foot was turned in. I feel that he was a gift from god to my son. The world, as well as the state of maine needs more physicians like him. Dr. Gause chose to take a year off and I was placed with another doctor for my sons checkups and DO NOT PARTICULARLY care for him at all. He knew nothing about my sons condition. he had the files right infront of him. Dr. Gause never forgot Gabes name and never forgot crucial information. I enjoyed talking with him about other tev babies and the severity. He is a Excellent doctor. Caring, gentle, and SMART. Maine is lucky to have him and so was my son!
