I am deeply grateful to Suraiya Begum, MD who stayed with me through my ordeal. She has also earned the highest rating a doctor can get. The first time that she saw me in the nursing home, she ordered me to have a blood transfusion. This was without any further examination whatsoever. That saved my life, as she did time and time again. She is the one who arranged for me to have the Whipple Operation at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
