I went in there after complications with blood in my stool. First - The nurse gave me an at home test without filling out the proper information from the office so I was unable to and had to make a trip back to the doctor's office to get it filled out. What's even worse is when I called into the office about the situation, the nurse had no idea what the test was, it was an FIT test but she didn't know what kind of test it was. Second - they gave me a work order to get a UGI and a BE done at any EVDI location. So I made my appointment myself and it took me 2.5 weeks just to get into the first appointment. As soon as I got to EVDI, they told me that they didn't accept my insurance. It took 2.5 weeks of my time for someone to tell me my insurance was not accepted. They gave me a name of another place that could but I couldn't walk in there with an EVDI order. So I had to yet again go back in to the doctors office and pick up another order for another location and make new appointments. The lady at the desk said 'sometimes these girls that fill out the paperwork don't know what insurances are accepted where'. In my mind I'm like 'I don't care but ya'll need to get better trained staff that give a shit.' Most of the girls that work there are sitting around chit-chatting and not giving anyone at the window the time of day. They kind of just look at you and tell you to sign in. Dr. Elizabeth Patterson is very nice, the facility is new and clean but the nurses there are clueless with bad attitudes. The whole phone process of 'Press 1 for testing results if your last name is between A and D' and then getting voicemail is ridiculus as well. If they can't get these orders right, I'm almost to the point of changing doctors. I hate going to the doctor's office and it's not because of seeing a doctor it's because the nurses piss me off and they seem to not give a damn for anything.
