I found this 'doctor' on the internet looking for smartlipo. After a 2 and 1/2 hour wait, and a screening questionaire that a psychologist might deem too personal on a first visist, I was stuck in a room in the back. Her scruffy looking husband,who looked like a hobo, came in and talked to me about the surgery. First of all I was confused as to why someone so unprofessional would be speaking to me about this after waiting as long as I did. When I did eventually speak to her, she complained about another doctor stealing her lipo business instead of how it could help me. Then tried to fast talk me into buying laser treatments, botox, and radius like I was a walking checkbook. She was VERY aggresive, with no interest as to what my personal goals where. There was a large bull dog running throughout the office shedding on everything and the room I was in smelled like ther had been a recent 'accident' in there. IN A DOCTOR'S OFFICE! Fortunately, I have found the other doctor who is 'stealing her business'. He is WONDERFUL!

It must be the same dog. Dr. Ginsburg does not have a dog in his office. I wonder why.
I also have recently had a consult at Dr. Muecke's office. The office was very clean, it smelled wonderful, and the decor was beautiful. The staff was really nice and well dressed. Dr. Muecke was very professional and took her time to explain everything to me. She only educated me about specific cosmetic procedures that I inquired about and never tried sell me anything else. She was not aggressive or persistent and even offered to see me again, free of charge, if I had any additional questions. When I first in for the consult she handed me a mirror and asked what goals I was trying to achieve and had me point out what I thought was wrong with me. I have scheduled a smartlipo with her for next week and I'm looking forward to it.
My heart goes out to ANONYMOUS15. I have suffered similar indignities at the hands of the Dr Maureen 'Mengele' Muecke. There are not enough adjectives in an Oxford English Dictionary to describe the embarrassment & humiliation I experienced while in her 'chambers of horrors' ... a concentration camp is no less horrific. The screams were not of the patients, but of the doctor [I use that term loosely] toward her pitiful staff. No wonder she can not keep anyone to assist her ... if I had to endure 1 hour of the torture her staff suffered while I witnessed this spectacle, I too would flee ... & flee I did! Never will my countenance cross her threshold again.
My experience with 'that woman' left a distaste in my mouth. I can not imagine how she ever acquired her license to practice. Her demeanor is appalling. Her method is tactless. Don't even get me started about that dog ... in an office that caters to health! I have made it clear to all my personal friends that I will never, ever return to that witch's hovel. I pity the poor people on the sidelines, having to endure such foul treatment on an regular basis. Run, Flee, Escape from her clutches while you can!
Didn't I see Dr. Muecke listed in the Birmingham Magazine's recent 2007 'Best Docs' issue?
Who selects our city's best physicians? Is there a legitimate survey among doctors and/or patients? What gives?
