Extremely thorough and caring when dealing with young children. Dr. Hawkins explains what, if any, procedures will need to be performed and the office staff has always been able to get my child in to see him within 36 hours - that is unbelievable for a specialist. My only wish is that Dr. Hawkins was a pediatrition instead of my son's ENT - I have contacted his office on several occasion regarding health issues with my son, and many times Dr. Hawkins himself will return the call, not his nurse. While he is careful to not offer a diagnosis over the phone, he has offered to refer my child to a specialist for symptoms that are not in his expertise.
The office staff is professional, yet kind and congenial. My son has been a patient of Dr. Hawkins since 2001, as he has had problems with his ears several times. Dr. Hawkins has performed two surgeries on him, and has had no complications. I would highly recommend that anyone entrust their child to his care.
