I think Dr. Poirier is a very caring doctor and a rare find in today's experiences. I am very thankful that he found his way to our tiny town of Loogootee since he was raised in Nova Scotia. I have experienced first hand his caring ways when my mother-in-law began failing mentally and slipping into dementia. I have heard of how he has reached out beyond the norm to families facing the unknown with children, spouses, or parents. I hope he will be practicing for many years to come.
