I took my daughter who was very sick with fever and flu to Dr. Baldwin. Also my daughter is having really bad headaches for the pasted 6 or 7 months. It wasn't a lot, I didn't think much of it at the time, and because she is only 6 years old I didn't know how bad they were. Now she is having them all times of the day. I took my girl to the hospital they said to take her to her Dr.  So I made an appointment with her Dr. When I went into Dr. Baldwin office she said that her vision is bad she needs an Optometrist. I said ok then I took her to see one on 02/09/08 when I went there the Dr said he didn’t understand why would Dr. Baldwin send her to a Optometrist when she knew my daughter is only 6 years old she needed to be seen by an Pediatric Optometrist. So then I called the Dr Baldwin’s office who gave me the run around. I told them I needed to see a Pediatric Optometrist I need to see one right away my little girl was crying a lot because of the headaches. They said that I needed to come back into the office again for the Dr to send me to the other Dr. At this point I’m very irate that I have to go back and forward and my daughter isn’t getting any help from Dr Baldwin. Anyway I went back into the office on 02/11/08 to get another Dr, I ask her why did she send me to a optometrist if she knew I had to take her to a Pediatric optometrist her answer to me it’s for Insurance reason, unbelievable I have a baby with really bad headaches and you have me going some where, where you know that can’t help me.. So at this point I am very vey much irate with this Dr. Then she said by tomorrow I would have a referral for  you to see another Dr in the morning. I spent the whole day on the phone. Here is a few names I left a message with Ruby, Trisha and Linda. Then after 2:00 P.M. I kept calling and the phone was going into another call center because no one in the office wasn’t picking up there phones all day. Up to now I don’t have a referral to take my little girl to the right Dr. When I was talking to Dr Baldwin I told her that my daughter hasn’t been eating very well because of the fever, right in front of my child she says that she can miss a few meals she is over weight for her age and height , I was in such a shock I didn’t say anything to her. My 6 year understands everything and has feelings, when she went home she was crying and I ask her why is she so sad she said I’m just thinking about my weight, as her mother I felt so helpless, sad, hurt and very much angry with everything that she said. Maybe my kid is overweight, but the Dr. could of told me this alone not in front of her. I never met a Dr. that was unprofessional. I feel the reason for her to keep me coming back to her office so she can get paid it was all about the insurance..
