I did not feel that I was treated properly by this doctor during labor and delivery of my baby. He was very cold and business like and I felt that he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I ended up with a cesarean section. At my post natal visit, he said that the nurses congratulated him for being so patient with me. I was appalled because I was only at the hospital for approx. 41/2 hours before the cesarean was performed. When I asked him to try and give me an incision that would allow for a possible VBAC in the future, he commented on how VBACs are not really being performed anymore. He did not listen to my request or see it as valuable to me. He also did not explain the risks of having a cesarean section. After the cesarean, he told me that it will not matter 10 years from now how my baby was born. Not once did he ask me how I was doing or feeling. I do not reccommend this practice if you are interested in natural childbirth. He continued to mention inducing labor to me without a clear medical reason.
