I recommend Dr. Whorton to all of my friends. Very thorough in evaluation. Refers when necessary. Puts my 2 year old at ease every time we see him. We just LOVE him. A+++++

I love Dr. Whorton! He takes his time with my son and is very professional! I think he is a wonderful Dr. and we are fortunate to have him in Hot Springs! Everyone you talk to praises him! He is very personable, you feel like you have known him forever! However, I am not a big fan of the staff. From day one I have felt like they are too busy for me and my son. Almost every time I call I am told there are no appointments for days on end, so I will see the APN (she is nice also). My gripe is, when my son is sick, I want to see his Dr. I have called and nicely asked for an appointment and have been turned down indefinitely for days, but my husband can call and put his foot down and we are in within that day! I have also made appointments, drove for an hour to get there and be told they had no record of my appointment (this has happened twice!), if I had not have kept my appointment card, they would have turned me away! I have often thought of leaving the clinic, but Dr. Whorton is a phenomenal Dr.!

Dr. Whorton is a great doctor. He takes time with his patients, and you never feel as though he is rushed. His practice is a busy one, but to me his care and time are worth the wait. Dr. Whorton's nurse, Linda, is on top of her game. She returns every call and keeps you informed. Yes, there are times they have to say they can't see a patient that day, but they always offer an alternative option. I also like the fact that my children, husband, and I can all see the same physician. I know that Hot Springs is fortunate to have Dr. Whorton.

Dr Whorton is an awesome DR. He is down to earth. Generally cares about you or your children. Does everything in his power make your child happy and well. My children love him and his nurse Linda.
