Stay away from this MD at all cost.  DO NOT PICK HIM AS YOUR PRIMARY DOCTOR IF YOU HAVE HMO INSURANCE.  He will give you extra headache if you need to see specialists.  He will raise HELL to do any kind of referrals with insurance although it is his DUTY to give you insurance authorization.  He will give you ONE visit for specialist visit (it doesn't matter if you have to go back to 2-3 visits) and you need to go back to see him and pay another copay BEFORE he authorizes another visit for the specialist.   I think it is unethical for him to make me go back to see him just so that he can collect my copay.  His nurses are useless too.   I was suffering because of his attitude of 'I should not have to do extra paperwork!'  He caused all sorts of troubles with my specialists.  My medical care was delayed and I had to go through an extra process to drop him as my primary physician and pick up another one, see the new guy before I was able to continue with my medical care I needed.
