On 12/22/2006 I drove across town to pick up two perscription dog foods for my pets. Prior to leaving I confirmed with my vet that the perscription had been called in to the Banfiled Clinic in the Pet Smart store on Richmond`s south side. Upon arrival, I was informed that they did not have thew rx on file. This is the third time within the past 12 months this has occurred. I asked to speak to the vet on duty. I was told that they are busy and did not have time to speak to me. I informed the young girl at the counter that I am upset in that this keeps happening here. This girl insisted that my vet never called and that they would not permit me to purchase the dog food.

I insisted to speak to the vet or store manager. The vet finally came out shouting at me that my vet should know better and that she needed a written perscription. I responded by noting that this was the third time her office has failed to acknowledge a called in rx. In no uncertain terms she yelled at me to leave her hospital and never come back without a written rx. I informed her that I would file a complaint and she said 'I don`t care. I own this place and I do`nt care what you do. She was abusive, loud, rude, confrontational and very condescending. This vet needs a course in anger managment and customer relations.
