I just read the comments about Dr. Henry's Botox abuse. This is absolutely true. In July, 2006, Dr.Kimberly A. Henry was publicly reprimanded by the California State Medical Board for administering a non FDA-approved Botox -like drug manufactured by a company called Toxin Research International of Tucson, AZ to herself and approximately 40 patients. This drug was not cleared by the FDA for patient use. According to state of California document, this drug '...is for research purposes only and was not intended for human use.' Dr. Henry also failed to mention to the 40 patients that this was not the FDA approved Botox. Too bad the California state board only issued a letter of reprimand. In some states like Florida, the state medical board suspended the doctors' licenses who administered the fake Botox. Those 40 people are very lucky they didn't develop any serious complications like some patients in Florida who ended up hospitalized in critical condition. You can view the complete information about this doctor and the public reprimand on the California State Board's website at www.medbd.ca.gov Dr. Henry can buy all the slick PR and advertising to promote her practice, but the facts don't lie about her integrity as a surgeon.
