I was in the hospital for pain I have 4 herniated disc in my thorasic, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, degenerative joint and disc disease.

Dr. Todd A.  Stivland was the doctor on call for my physician. He came into my room twirling his car keys on his finger with his coat still on and said to me,

' Why are you wasting everyones time a hospital is no place to deal with chronic pain, you just need to go home and quit wasting everyones time.'

So I got dressed and went home, on my way out the door he stated ' If you leave I am writing you down as leaving AMA.' I stated you just told me to go home because I was wasting everyones time. He then stated I was 'pathetic and thanked me for wasting his afternoon'
