Dr Berger's arrogance is only exceeded by his complete incompetence as a physician. As evidence of his incompetence, note the following:
When a family member came to him with an apparent cancerous condition and a previous history of a tumerous growth, he misdiagnosed the condition as a muscle spasm and prescribed muscle relaxers. A medical visit to another physician revealed this to be an obvious lymphatic condition. For a pain condition that I had, he also prescribed for me a patch for treating herpes, even though I do not have a herpetic condition.
In addition to the obvious inability to diagnose correctly, Dr. Berger has no skill as in terms of patient care and sensitivity. His manner with another patient in a hospital setting was notes as borish and rude. He has demonstrated to me and my family a complete lack of any grace as a caring or concerned physician. I highly suggest that his services be avoided and alternative medical care sought instead.

I found Dr. Berger to be courteous and professional. My first visit to Dr. Berger was a Saturday morning appointment. Even though there were one or two other patients in the waiting room, Dr. Berger made it a point to spend some time with me and get to know me and my medical history. He did not just leave it all for a nurse to deal with (which would have been fine, and has happened at many other doctors' offices).
I am not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about, I have found Dr. Berger to be excellent. My wife is in the healthcare industry and deals with doctors on a daily basis. Talking with her about most doctors' attitudes can leave a bad taste in your mouth. I left Dr. Berger's office feeling like I had found a competent doctor with a good bedside manner.
